Privacy Policy
Last updated May 4, 2026
This policy explains what information Nexus collects when you visit nexusforsmallbusiness.com(the “site”) or contact us through it, how we use that information, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We keep this policy short, plain, and accurate. If anything is unclear, write to hello@nexusforsmallbusiness.com and we’ll answer.
Who we are
Nexus operates the site at nexusforsmallbusiness.com. For privacy questions, requests, or to exercise any of the rights described below, write to hello@nexusforsmallbusiness.com. For data protection purposes, Nexus is the data controller for information collected through this site.
Information we collect
When you fill out the contact form on this site, we collect:
- Your business name and your email address
- The trade or industry you described
- The approximate size of your contact database
- Anything else you wrote in the notes field
Standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of your visit. We do not use this for advertising and do not sell or share it for marketing purposes.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, follow up by email, and, if you become a Nexus client, to set up and operate your account. That is the full list of uses for site-collected data.
Legal basis for processing (for users in the EU/UK)
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process information you submit through the contact form on the basis of your consent (you chose to send it) and our legitimate interest in responding to potential clients and running our business. If you become a client, processing is also based on the contract we enter into with you.
How long we keep it
Inquiries received through this site are kept for as long as needed to follow up, and for a reasonable period after that for our records — typically up to 24 months from your last contact. Client data inside the Nexus platform is retained for the duration of the engagement and for the period required by tax and legal obligations after it ends. You can ask us to delete your inquiry data at any time using the contact below.
How we store and protect it
Inquiry data sent through this site is delivered as email to a Nexus inbox and kept only as long as described above. Client data inside the Nexus platform is stored on infrastructure we operate, encrypted in transit and at rest, with access limited to the people directly working on your account.
AI and your data
Nexus uses AI features inside the platform: document reading, lead scoring, message drafting, pricing recommendations, and live API lookups. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not feed your data into third-party models we do not control. Where AI features call external providers, those calls are made under contracts that prohibit retention or training on your data.
Sharing
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with vendors that help us operate the platform — including email delivery (Resend), hosting (Vercel), and error monitoring — and only what they need to do their job. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights or yours.
International data transfers
Our hosting and email vendors are based in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, the information you submit will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on standard contractual safeguards with our vendors where required.
Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for details. The short version: this site does not currently set any cookies and does not run analytics or advertising trackers.

- Withdraw consent. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
